Travel Guidelines 2021

Last year in 2020 the entire world faced an unprecedented situation with the outbreak of the pandemic. Many travel restrictions were imposed by various state and central governments of countries around the world. Many of these regulations are in place now and it is our duty as responsible citizens to abide by them.

We request all guests to abide by the mandatory requirements for travel to the destination, such as RT-PCR tests, web check-in, self-declaration, e-pass formalities etc. as per the state/country, which are subject to change periodically. Any cost incurred for such requirements should be borne by the guests.

Guests must ensure the following:

  • If testing for COVID-19 is a travel requirement for entry to the state/country, the guests will have to take the specified test (72/96 hours prior) and carry the test reports, which must be valid at the time of entry as per the state/country guidelines. In case the result of the COVID-19 test is positive prior to the tour, guest will not be able to join the said tour. Get in touch with travel advisor for alternate solution.
  • If Self-Health Declaration is a travel requirement then kindly fill-in the same.
  • It is advisable to download and register your details on the Aarogya Setu App which should be presented to the said officials if asked for. A green status on your Aarogya Setu App is required for travel.
  • It is mandatory to use a mask and carry hand sanitizer at all times while on tour
  • Social distancing should be followed stringently at all times.
  • Maintaining personal hygiene is a must at all times during the tour.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines as outlined by Hotels/Airlines/Associates/sightseeing places
  • Intimation to respective representative, Tour Manager or Travel advisor is must, if you observe any symptoms related to COVID-19, so necessary precautions can be taken to avoid further spread.

Kindly note given the current dynamic situation some monuments or sightseeing places may be closed temporarily without any prior notice; in such cases every attempt will be made to visit an alternate sightseeing if possible.


Statewise Guidelines as on 19th November 2021
Sector Name Guidelines
Andaman Guests Obligation 1. All passengers must download the Aarogya Setu App.
2. RT-PCR negative test report within 48 hours of journey will continue to be mandatory. Any passenger not carrying RTPCR negative report will be sent back to origin on the same day.
3.Passengers who are fully vaccinated i.e. those who have received both doses and completed 15 days from the receipt of the 2nd dose shall be exempted from pre-departure RT-PCR requirements and on arrival test procedures.
4. Hand written reports are not acceptable.
5. Any passenger arriving without RT-PCR negative test report will be deported on the same flight.
6.Passengers shall not be allowed to pick up their checked-in baggage at the arrival hall. The same shall be handed over to them at the testing centre.
Screening 1. Thermal screening will be done for all passengers.
2. All Incoming passengers arriving shall have to mandatorily carry RT-PCR negative test report issued from a ICMR approved lab, subject to condition that RT-PCR test should have been taken within 48 hours. RT-PCR timeline starts from the swab collection time.
3. In addition to being in possession of negative RT-PCR report, all arriving passengers shall mandatorily undergo RT-PCR test upon arrival free of cost.
4. Passengers who are fully vaccinated i.e. those who have received both doses and completed 15 days from the receipt of the 2nd dose shall be exempted from pre-departure RT-PCR requirements and on arrival test procedures.
Quarantine: 1. All passengers shall be required to undergo mandatory home or institutional quarantine till they received result of on arrival Test
2. If any passenger tests positive will be sent for institutional quarantine for further treatment.
Andhra Pradesh Guests Obligation 1. Download Aarogya Setu App
2. To register on Spandana website https://www.spandana.ap.gov.in/ and obtain clearance.
Screening 1. Thermal screening for all passengers.
Quarantine No Quarantine for Domestic passengers
Arunachal Pradesh Guests Obligation 1. Passengers are required to download the Arogya Setu App.
2. Rapid Test will be done for all travellers.
3. Fully Vaccinated travellers need to carry certificate.
4. While applying for tourist inner line permit, following documents should be submitted:
i. Valid COVID-19 negative certificate of tourist.
ii. Tour booking slip.
iii. Tour itinerary with details of place of visit and stay.
iv. Details of vehicle, driver, and tour guide information
Screening Thermal Screening for all passengers.
Quarantine: Not required but Symptomatic Travelers will be shifted to COVID isolation Centers.
Assam Guests Obligation 1. Download Aarogya Setu App
2. All passengers must pay the cost of RT-PCR test upon arrival themselves.
3. Passengers looking for exemption from on arrival testing are required to be in possession of RT-PCR negative certificate conducted within 72Hours from the time of arrival into Assam and final vaccination certificate (two doses complete).
Screening 1. Thermal screening will be conducted upon arrivals
2. All passengers arriving into any airport in Assam shall mandatorily undergo RAT test upon arrival free of cost.
3. If the test result of the RAT test is positive, the passenger will have to undergo home isolation or get admitted in private hospital or Government Health Institution depending on his/her medical condition.
4. If the test result of the RAT test is negative, the passenger will have to undergo RT-PCR at the airport itself. The cost of the RT-PCR test (maximum ?250/-) shall be borne by the passenger.
5. Passengers shall be allowed to leave the airport once the sample/swab for RT-PCR test has been collected and with the condition that he/she shall remain under home quarantine until the result is declared
6. If the test result of the RT-PCR test is positive, the passenger will have to undergo home isolation or get admitted in private hospital or Government Health Institution depending on his/her medical condition.
7. If the test result of the RT-PCR test is negative, the passenger can continue his/her activities adhering to COVID-19 behaviour and norms of the state.
8. Exemption - Fully vaccinated passengers i.e. those who have received both the doses of the COVID-19 vaccine shall be exempted.
Quarantine Mandatory 7 days home quarantine for all passengers even if the test of the result conducted on arrival is negative.
Chandigarh Guests Obligation 1. Download Aarogya Setu App.
2. All passenger must register on the COVA Punjab App before commencing the journey.
3. Ensure while travelling to Chandigarh are in possession of RT-PCR negative certificate of not older than 72Hours or final vaccination certificate (two doses completed).
4.Not applicable to infants and children below the age of 10 years.
Screening 1. Thermal screening for all passengers.
2. Passengers travelling to Chandigarh are mandatorily required to be in possession of RT-PCR negative report of not older than 72 hours from an ICMR accredited lab or a COVID-19 vaccination Final Certificate (two doses completed). RT-PCR timeline starts from the swab collection time.
Quarantine No Quarantine
Delhi Guests Obligation 1. All passengers must download Aarogya Setu App.
Screening 1. Thermal screening for all passengers.
2. In view of the surge in number of COVID-19 cases, random sample collection will be done for passengers arriving from states where there has been a spurt in number for COVID-19 cases.
3. Passengers will be allowed to exit after sample collection.
Quarantine 1. Passengers who are found positive will be quarantined at home or CCC/CHC/Hospital for 10 days.
Goa Guest Obligation 1. All passengers must download Aarogya Setu App.
2. Carry a negative RT-PCR/TrueNAT/CBNAAT/Rapid Antigen Test report not earlier than 72 hours from an ICMR approved or final vaccination certificate showing 2 doses complete and 15days being elapsed from the receipt of the 2nd dose.
Screening 1. Mandatory for all passengers arriving into Goa from other States/UT to be in possession of RT-PCR/True NAT/CBNAAT/Rapid Antigen Test negative report from ICMR accredited labs done within last 72 hours.
2. RT-PCR/True NAT/CBNAAT/Rapid Antigen Test timeline starts from the swab collection time.
3. Passengers not fulfilling the requirements shall be denied boarded at the origin station.
4. Passengers in possession of final vaccination certificate i.e. those who have taken both doses and have completed 15 days since the receipt of the 2nd dose shall be exempted from pre-departure RT-PCR/TrueNAT/CBNAAT/RAT requirement.
5. Passengers arriving from Kerala shall be allowed entry into Goa only on production RT-PCR negative report from ICMR accredited labs done within last 72 hours. RT-PCR timeline starts from the swab collection time.
Quarantine 1. No Quarantine.
2. Passengers arriving from Kerala are subject to 5 days home quarantine.
Gujarat Guest Obligation 1. All passengers must download Aarogya Setu App.
2. Symptomatic passengers upon arrival shall be required to undergo RT-PCR test at their own cost.
3. Passengers originating their journey from any city in Kerala or Maharashtra state to the city of Ahmedabad are required to be in possession of RT-PCR negative certificate of not older than 72 hours from an ICMR accredited lab or final vaccination certificate (i.e. both the doses completed and should have surpassed 15 days from the receipt of the 2nd dose). RT-PCR timeline starts from the time of sample collection. Passengers not in possession of RTPCR negative/vaccination certificate shall be required to undergo RAT upon arrival free of cost.
4. It is mandatory for passengers arriving into the city of Surat from other states/UT to carry a negative RT-PCR report not earlier than 72 hours from an ICMR approved laboratory or be in possession of final vaccination certificate (two doses complete). RT-PCR timeline starts from the swab collection time.
5. Domestic travellers from other states arriving at Surat have to fill online "Novel Corona self-reporting form" and to download "SMC COVID-19 Tracker" app.

Quarantine No Quarantine
Himachal Pradesh Guest Obligation Download 'Aarogya Setu App'.
Screening 1. Thermal Screening for all Passengers on arrival
2. All passengers travelling to Himachal Pradesh are required to be either in possession of RT-PCR negative report not earlier than 72 hours. RT-PCR timeline starts from the swab collection time or they are advised to carry their COVID-19 Vaccine certificate (Single or both doses).
3. All passengers are required to register themselves on https://covidregistration.hp.gov.in/applications/epass/apply
Quarantine 1. COVID-19 test is not required.
2. Thermal screening will be done for all passengers upon arrival.
Jammu and Kashmir Guest Obligation 1. Download 'Aarogya Setu App'.
2. Passenger is required to undergo COVID-19 Test at the Airport if not in possession of RT-PCR negative report or final vaccination certificate.
Screening 1. Passengers travelling to Jammu & Kashmir are mandatorily required to be in possession of RT-PCR negative report of not older than 72Hours from an ICMR accredited lab or a COVID vaccination Final Certificate (two doses complete). RT-PCR timeline starts from the swab collection time.
2. Passengers not in possession of negative RT-PCR report or vaccination certificate shall be required to undergo test upon arrival free of cost.
Quarantine 1. No Quarantine
2. If tested positive then 14 days Home Quarantine
Karnataka Guests Obligation 1. Download Aarogya Setu App
2. Submit self declaration at least 72 hours before departure (https://www.covidwar.karnataka.gov.in)
3. Passengers originating their journey from any city in Kerala state (irrespective of their vaccination status) to any city in Karnataka state shall be mandatorily required to be in possession of RT-PCR negative certificate of not older than 72Hours from an ICMR accredited lab. RT-PCR timeline starts from the time of sample collection.
4. Passengers originating their journey from any city in Maharashtra state to any city in Karnataka state shall be exempted from mandatorily requirement of RT-PCR negative certificate of not older than 72Hours from an ICMR accredited lab if the duration of their trip is of 2 days or less provided they are fully vaccinated. Passengers whose trip duration is of more than 2 days shall be mandatorily required to be in possession of RT PCR negative certificate of not older than 72Hours from an ICMR accredited lab irrespective of their vaccination status. RT-PCR timeline starts from the time of sample collection.

Quarantine No Quarantine
Kerala (E-pass Mandatory) Guest Obligation 1. Download 'Aarogya Setu App'.
2. All passengers shall be required to register their details on https://covid19jagratha.kerala.nic.in and obtain e-pass.
3. Required to show e-Pass to health officials at airport.
Screening 1. Thermal screening for all passengers.
2. All passengers travelling to Kerala are required to be in possession of RT-PCR negative report not earlier than 72 hour. RT-PCR timeline starts from the swab collection time.
3. Passengers who are not in possession of the RT-PCR negative report shall be required to undergo RT-PCR test upon arrival at their own cost at facility outside the airport.
4. Passengers those who are fully vaccinated i.e. those who have received both the doses are exempted from pre-departure RT-PCR requirement on production of final vaccination certificate.
5. All passengers travelling to Kerala are required to be in possession of RT-PCR negative report not earlier than 72 Hrs prior to departure. RT-PCR timeline starts from the swab collection time.
6. If passengers undertaking RT-PCR test on arrival, isolation is must at their respective places of stay till RT-PCR report is available.
7. If RT-PCR test is positive, patient should seek medical attention from health institution.
8. If RT-PCR test is negative, the passenger should follow strict universal masking, safe distancing and hand hygiene during their stay in Kerala. If they develop symptoms(fever, cough, sore throat, breathlessness, muscle pain, fatigability, anosmia, diarrhoea) during their stay in Kerala, they should seek medical attention immediately.
9. Passengers who do not undergo RT-PCR testing will have to remain in room isolation for 14 days from date of entry to Kerala and do self-observation regarding symptoms. If they devlop any symptoms, they should seek medical attention immediately.
10. Passengers those who fully vaccinated i.e.., those who have received both doses are exempted from pre-departure RT-PCR requirement on production of final vaccination certificate.
Quarantine 1. 14 days of Home Quarantine for all passengers who are not in possession of RT-PCR negative certificate and are not willing to undergo RT-PCR upon arrival.
2. Not applicable for passengers arriving into the city of Kannur
Leh Ladakh Guest Obligation 1. Download Aarogya Setu App.
2. COVID-19 negative report (not earlier than 72 hours prior to the departure) is MANDATORY for entry into Leh Ladakh.
Screening 1. Thermal screening shall be done for all passengers.
2. Negative RT-PCR report on arrival (not earlier than 96 hours prior to arrival) is required for all passengers arriving into Leh Ladakh . RT-PCR timeline starts from the swab collection time.
3. Passengers in possession of final vaccination certificate, i.e., those who have taken both doses and have completed 15 days since the receipt of the 2nd dose shall be exempted from pre-departure RT-PCR requirement
Quarantine 1. If passengers are not carrying negative COVID-19 report, then mandatory 7 days of home quarantine. COVID-19 test may be conducted at the end of quarantine period.
2. Passengers may have to be tested for COVID-19 & if tested positive, passengers will be transferred to COVID-19 facility for further processing.
3. If test report is negative then the passengers shall be released from mandatory quarantine
Madhya Pradesh Guest Obligation 1. Download Aarogya Setu App
2. Self-declaration is mandatory for all arriving passengers to Indore. Link for self-declaration is given below. https://indore.acceldash.com/self-declaration-form
Screening 1. Thermal Screening for all Passengers.
2. For passengers arriving from Maharashtra into the district of Indore (IDR), it is mandatory for passenger to carry negative RT-PCR report from an ICMR approved lab not earlier than 48 hours. RT-PCR timeline starts from the swab collection time.
Quarantine 1. Self isolation for passengers arriving from Maharashtra without negative RT-PCR report till the report results are not received.
2. Upon giving the sample for testing, passengers are expected to contact the COVID team at the airport & download the Indore-311 app for monitoring of self isolation status.
Maharashtra Guest Obligation Download Aarogya Setu App
Screening 1. Thermal screening shall be done for all passengers.
It is mandatory for passengers arriving into Mumbai from other states/UT to carry a negative RT-PCR certificate issued not more than 72 hours before arrival. RT-PCR timeline starts from the report issuance time.
3. Passenger not in possession of the same shall be denied boarded at the origin station.
4. Exemption - Passengers in possession of final vaccination certificate, i.e. those who have taken both doses and completed 15 days from the receipt of the 2nd dose shall be exempted from pre-departure RT-PCR requirement.
5. It is mandatory for passengers arriving into Aurangabad from other states/UT to carry a negative RT-PCR which will have to be issued from up to a maximum of 72 Hours before the time of arrival into Aurangabad. RT-PCR timeline starts from the report issuance time. Passenger not in possession of the same shall be denied boarded at the origin station.
6. Submit contact details with authorities, in case the test result come positive the state officials will contact.
Quarantine No quarantine & hand stamping for asymptomatic passenger
Manipur Guests Obligation 1. Download Aarogya Setu App
2. Must apply for epass to the Deputy Commissioner of their home district at least 2 days in advance.
3. Passenger seeking exemption from pre departure RT-PCR/TRUENAT/CB NAAT/Rapid Antigen tests to ensure they are fully vaccinated i.e. those who have received both does of the COVID-19 Vaccine and have completed 15 days from the receipt of the 2nd dose and are possession of their vaccination certificate at the time of travel.
Screening 1. Thermal screening will be conducted for all passengers.
2. Mandatory for passengers arriving from ANY state to carry a RT-PCR/TRUENAT/CB-NAAT/RAT negative report from ICMR approved lab not earlier than 72 hours. RT-PCR timeline starts from the swab collection time.
3. Fully vaccinated passengers i.e. those who have received both the doses of the COVID-19 vaccine and have completed 15 days from the receipt of the 2nd dose shall be exempted from the requirement of pre-departure RT-PCR/TRUENAT/CB-NAAT/Rapid Antigen tests on the production of valid vaccination certificate.
Quarantine No Quarantine
Meghalaya Guests Obligation 1. All passengers must download Aarogya Setu App.
2. All passengers must register on the State portal to generate a unique e-invite http://meghalayaonline.gov.in/covid/testing.htm
3. All passengers are required to download Behavioural Change Management App of Meghalaya from Googly play store
Screening 1. All passengers arriving into the state of shall be required to undergo mandatory RT-PCR test at their own cost.
2. All passengers entering and exiting the state on the same day shall also be required to undergo mandatory RT-PCR test at their own cost.
3. Exemption - Passengers in possession of final vaccination certificate i.e. both the doses complete are exempt from RT-PCR testing.
Quarantine 1. All passengers undergoing RT-PCR test on arrival shall be required to undergo 7 days home or paid quarantine as designated by the authorities on arrival regardless of their result.
2. All passengers entering and exiting the state on the same day shall be required to be confined to their area of work.
3. Passengers in possession of final vaccination certificate i.e. two doses completed are exempted from carrying RT-PCR report.
Mizoram (e-pass mandatory) Guests Obligation 1. Download Aarogya Setu App
2. All Passengers need to have valid m-pass which can be obtained by applying online on State website: (https://mcovid19.mizoram.gov.in) before boarding the flight without which passenger shall not be allowed to travel from origin stations.
Screening 1. Thermal screening for all passengers.
2. All passengers with or without negative COVID-19 report will be subjected mandatory Rapid Antigen Test upon arrival.
Quarantine 1. All arriving passengers after undergoing RAT test on arrival shall be quarantined in a facility appointed by the Government or Deputy Commissioner and shall undergo RT-PCR/True NAT test after 5 days. If negative shall be released from quarantine.
2. Exemptions from Quarantine and on arrival testing:
- Passengers looking for exemption from quarantine and on arrival testing can do so if in possession of negative RT-PCR/ True Nat/ CBNAAT, conducted from an ICMR approved lab within 72 hours of arrival into the state. RT-PCR/ True Nat/ CBNAAT timeline starts from the time of sample collection.
- Be in possession of final vaccination certificate (i.e. both the doses complete and should have surpassed 15 days from the receipt of the 2nd dose).
- Be in possession of Certificate of discharge from Home Isolation or COVID care facility issued by the competent authority within 3 months prior to the date of entry into the state.
Odisha Guests Obligation Download Aarogya Setu App
Screening 1. Thermal screening shall be conducted for all passengers.
Quarantine No Quarantine
Punjab Guests Obligation 1. Download Aarogya Setu App
2. Must register on register on COVA Punjab App before commencing their journey.
Screening 1. Thermal screening for all passengers.
2. It is mandatory for passengers arriving in the state of Punjab from other states/UT to carry a negative RT-PCR report not earlier than 72 hours from an ICMR approved laboratory or be in possession of vaccination certificate (at least one dose) over 2 weeks old.
3. RT-PCR timeline starts from the swab collection time.
Quarantine No quarantine for Domestic Passenger
Rajasthan (Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur) Guest Obligation 1. Download 'Arogya Setu App'.
2. All passengers must submit Self-Health Declaration and go through screening process.
Screening 1. Thermal screening for all passengers.
2. COVID-19 test shall be done for all symptomatic passengers.
3. It is MANDATORY for passengers arriving from other states to carry a COVID-19 negative report from an ICMR approved lab not earlier than 72 hours.
4. Passengers travelling to Udaipur are mandatorily required to upload a copy of their RT-PCR negative report on http://emitra.rajasthan.gov.in
Exemption - Passengers who have completed at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine are exempt from carrying COVID-19 negative report. Passenger shall carry COVID-19 vaccine certification while travelling.
Quarantine Symptomatic passengers shall be Isolated and taken to nearest health facility
Sikkim Guests Obligation 1. Download 'Aarogya Setu App'.
2. Guests shall compulsory register themselves at https://www.sikkimtourism.gov.in/Public/Index/mandatorytourist before travelling to Sikkim.
Screening 1. Thermal screening for all passengers.
2. Only those passengers who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 are permitted to travel to Sikkim.
3. If a family is travelling together as tourists to Sikkim and at least one of them is fully vaccinated (both doses) and others are partially vaccinated (one dose) or accompanied by children below the age of 18 years, all of them would still be permitted to enter Sikkim, provided that a valid negative RT-PCR test report must be carried by all those members who are only partially vaccinated & children below the age of 18 years.
4. Test for their RT-PCR report should have been conducted within 72 hours prior to arrival.
Quarantine 1. If any tourist arrives without a test, then they should get It done at the nearest COVID-19 testing centres at specified testing locations in the state.
Tamil Nadu (e-pass Mandatory) Guests Obligation 1. Download Aarogya Setu App
2. All passengers travelling to Tamil Nadu shall be required to register on State website and obtain TN e-pass - https://eregister.tnega.org)/#/user/pass
Screening 1. Thermal screening mandatory for all passengers.
2. Passengers originating their journey from any city in Kerala state to any city in Tamil Nadu state shall be mandatorily required to be in possession of RT-PCR negative certificate of not older than 72Hours from an ICMR accredited lab or final vaccination certificate (i.e. both doses complete). RT-PCR timeline starts from the time of sample collection.
3.For passenger arriving in CJB, following shall apply:
- It is advisable for all passengers arriving in CJB to have carry a negative RT-PCR report not earlier than 72 hours. RT-PCR timeline starts from the swab collection time. The same is not applicable for passengers travelling from other cities within Tamil Nadu.
- In case the passenger arrives without RT-PCR report, COVID testing shall be done free of cost at the airport and the passengers shall be released after sample is taken. Further action will be taken basis the test result.
4. Customers who undergo test on arrival and are:
- Found to be positive and symptomatic, will be taken to hospital isolation.
- Found to be negative and asymptomatic, will have to undergo for self monitoring for 14 days.
- Found to be negative and symptomatic, will be taken to hospital isolation and decided based on Medical Opinion.
Quarantine 1. No quarantine for domestic passengers.
Telangana Guests Obligation Download Aarogya Setu App
Screening Thermal screening for all passengers.
Quarantine Quarantine requirement of all symptomatic passengers will be decided by Health Authorities.
Uttarakhand Guests Obligation 1. Download Aarogya Setu App
2. All passengers travelling to Uttarakhand need to register (Mandatory) on state website: http://smartcitydehradun.uk.gov.in
Screening 1. Thermal screening for all passengers.
2. It is mandatory for passengers to carry RT-PCR/TrueNAT/CBNAAT/RAT negative report from ICMR accredited labs done within last 72 hours. RT-PCR/TrueNAT/CBNAAT/RAT timeline starts from the swab collection time.
3. Passengers in possession of final vaccination certificate, i.e. those who have taken both the doses and completed 15 days from the receipt of the second dose shall be exempted from pre-departure RT-PCR/TrueNAT/CBNAAT/RAT requirement.
Quarantine 1. If the passenger is found positive necessary protocols laid down by state authorities will be followed.
Uttar Pradesh Guests Obligation 1. Download Aarogya Setu App
Screening 1. Thermal screening will be done for all passengers.
2. Passengers travelling to Uttar Pradesh state are mandatorily required to be in possession of RT-PCR negative report of not older than 72Hours from an ICMR accredited lab or a COVID vaccination Final Certificate (i.e. two doses completed and 15 days have surpassed after the receipt of the 2nd dose). RT PCR timeline starts from the swab collection time.
3. For Agra only:
- All passengers arriving into the city of Agra shall be mandatorily required to undergo RT-PCR test upon arrival free of cost.
Note: Passengers who arrive with a negative RT-PCR/RAT report shall still be required to undergo the RT-PCR test arrival.
Quarantine No Quarantine, however passengers arriving from Maharashtra and Kerala if found to be symptomatic on arrival shall be required to undergo 14 days home quarantine.
West Bengal, Bagdogra and Kolkata Guests Obligation 1. Download Aarogya Setu App
2. To submit the declaration form using Sandhane App developed by H&FW Department West Bengal.

Screening 1. Thermal screening for all passengers.
2. It is mandatory for passengers arriving in the state of West Bengal from other states/UT to carry a negative RT-PCR report not earlier than 72 hours from an ICMR approved laboratory. RT-PCR timeline starts from the swab collection time.
3. Passengers those who are fully vaccinated i.e.. those who have received both the doses are exempted from pre-departure RT-PCR requirement on production of final vaccination certificate.
4. Children below 2 years are exempted from RT-PCR test.
Quarantine 1. Passengers arriving without RT-PCR negative report into the state of West Bengal shall be subject to 14 days institutional quarantine at their own cost.

4. Exemption from RT-PCR requirement shall be permitted only incase of death in the family and must be applied online at least 72 hours before departure on the Air Suvidha Portal
5. All passengers including children and infants shall be required to be in possession of physical or digital copy of the acknowledgement of their self health declaration form submitted on the Air Suvidha Portal along with their RT-PCR report failing which they can be denied boarded at the origin station
6. All passengers including children and infants originating or transiting through United Kingdom, Europe or Middle East shall adhere to below in addition to the above:
- Undergo molecular test upon arrival at their own cost and proceed towards home quarantine/self health monitoring or take onward connecting flights to final destination within India
7. In addition to the above, all customers including children and infants originating from United Kingdom, South Africa or Brazil shall adhere to below as well:
- In case the customer's journey ends at first port of entry into India, they need to undergo molecular test upon arrival at their own cost and proceed towards home quarantine/self health monitoring. They are not required to wait for test results.
- Incase of onward connection, customers shall have to wait for the RT-PCR test results. Onward journey shall be permitted only if the test result is negative
8. Passngers arriving into Punjab and Chandigarh from any country are required to undergo RT-PCR test on arrival at their own cost.
Quarantine 1. Customers arriving into the city of Mumbai from UK, European and Middle East Countries shall have to undergo mandatory institutional quarantine at their own cost. Such customers shall not undergo a RT-PCR test upon arrival however they will have to undergo the test during the 5th to 7th day of their quarantine at their own cost. If found negative customers shall be allowed to proceed to 7 days mandatory home quarantine.
Dubai Thermal Screening Thermal screening for all passengers.
Guest Obligation 1. A valid negative COVID 19 PCR test certificate with a QR code issued within 48 hours of the time the sample was collected from an approved health facility.
2. A rapid PCR test report with a QR code for a test conducted at the departure airport within six hours of departure.
3. The certificate must be a Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) test. Other test certificates including antibody tests, NHS COVID Test certificates, Rapid PCR tests and home testing kits are not accepted in Dubai. Travellers must bring an official, digital or printed certificate in English or Arabic to check in – SMS certificates are not accepted. PCR certificates in other languages are acceptable if they can be validated at the originating station. Digital COVID 19 certificates are accepted upon arrival at Dubai International airport verification points.
4. Passengers travelling from other countries other than India must present a printed negative result of a COVID 19 RT PCR test done no more than 72 hours before departure.
5. All passengers arriving in Dubai will be required to take another COVID 19 PCR test on arrival at Dubai’s airports.
4. All passengers must download the COVID-19 Dubai Smart App and generate a QR code on their device before entering Dubai.
Quarantine If the on arrival test result is positive, you will be required to undergo isolation and follow the Dubai Health Authority guidelines.
Egypt Thermal Screening Thermal screening for all passengers
Guest Obligation 1. Vaccinated passengers travelling from India whether direct or indirect can enter Egypt if he/she has an approved certificate with a QR code from the country issued the certificate (the certificate will be reviewed and examined, and in case of any scraping, cancellation or addition, the certificate will not be accepted).(In case the vaccination certificate is issued without QR code in the country that the passenger is coming from, the certificate will be accepted if it is approved from the Egyptian Embassy in this country).  Passenger shall undergo an (ID now COVID-19 TEST) upon arrival and in case the test is positive, the passenger shall undergo a PCR test at the airport and in case the test is positive, the passenger will be quarantined in a governmental designated hospital.(the test costs 1000 EGP)
2. Non-vaccinated passengers traveling from India whether direct or indirect shall undergo an (ID now COVID-19 TEST) upon arrival (in addition to the PCR test Certificate (conducted 72 hours prior to departure, which is required before arrival, the test costs 1000 EGP), and in case the test is positive, the passenger shall undergo a PCR test at the airport and in case the test is positive, the passenger will be quarantined in a governmental designated hospital.(the test costs 1000 EGP).

France Thermal Screening Thermal screening for all passengers
Guest Obligation 1. Travellers shall carry proof of vaccination. It will only be valid if it proves that you are fully vaccinated, i.e.:
a) Seven days after the second shot for two-shot vaccines (Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca (Vaxevria and Covishield));
b) Four weeks after the shot for one-shot vaccines (Johnson & Johnson);
c) Seven days after the shot for vaccines administered to people who have already had COVID-19 (only one dose is necessary).
Only vaccines authorized by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) (Pfizer (Comirnaty), Moderna, AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Johnson & Johnson (Janssen)), or AstraZeneca (Covishield) will be accepted.
2. Travellers who are not vaccinated shall follow the below mentioned rules:
a) Each traveller aged 12 and over must present a negative PCR test taken less than 72 hours before departure or a negative antigenic test taken less than 48 hours before departure.
b) If you have previously contracted COVID-19, instead of a negative test result you may present a certificate of recovery dated more than 11 days and less than 6 months prior to the date of arrival. A certificate of recovery is a document issued to persons who have contracted COVID-19, upon presentation of a positive RT-PCR or antigenic test.
c) You may be subject to a random test when you arrive in France.
2. All travellers shall mandatory carry a sworn declaration, which you can download from the Interior Ministry’s website (https://www.interieur.gouv.fr/Actualites/L-actu-du-Ministere/Certificate-of-international-travel) stating that you have no symptoms of COVID-19 infection and to your knowledge, you have not been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the 14 days prior to your journey.
Quarantine Travellers who are not vaccinated are required to self isolate for 7 days
Germany Thermal Screening Thermal screening for all passengers
Guest Obligation 1. Travellers aged twelve years or older must hold proof of the following upon entering Germany:
A) A negative COVID-19 test result or
B) proof of a full COVID-19 vaccination or
C) proof of recovery from an infection.
This proof must be held prior to entering the country, and must be presented to the airline before departure where applicable.
2. In principle, the following forms of proof are accepted:
A) Proof of a negative test result:
A negative test result obtained using nucleic acid amplification technology (e.g. PCR, PoC- PCR) in German, English, French, Italian or Spanish. The test must have been carried out no more than 72 hours prior to entry (time of swabbing).
B) A negative antigen rapid test result in German, English, French, Italian or Spanish. Following a stay in a risk area or high incidence area, the test must have been carried out no more than 48 hours prior to entry. C) Proof of vaccination:
Proof of vaccination against COVID-19 in German, English, French, Italian or Spanish in digital or paper form (e.g. WHO vaccination booklet). The vaccine used must be one of those listed on the website of the Paul-Ehrlich-Institut https://www.pei.de/EN/medicinal-products/vaccines-human/covid-19/covid-19-node.html
A period of at least 14 days must have elapsed since receiving the last vaccine dose.
D) Proof of recovery:
A positive PCR test result carried out at least 28 days but no more than six months previously.

Quarantine The obligation to quarantine only applies to travellers who have stayed in the last 10 days in a country that is classified as a high-risk area or virus variant area at the time of the planned entry to Germany. Bhutan and India (since 19/09/2021) are not considered high-risk areas. This means that the obligation to quarantine on entry from these countries does not apply.
Iceland Thermal Screening Thermal screening for all passengers
Guest Obligation 1. All travellers need to pre-register at covid.is
2. Travellers must carry certificate of full vaccination , or a certificate of previous infection, at the border. If a certificate is not considered valid, two samples must be taken and a 5-day quarantine in between. 14 days must have elapsed since the second dose of vaccine for a certificate to be valid.
3. All vaccinated tourists, and those with a confirmed previous infection, must present a negative COVID-19 test before boarding an aircraft or ship en route to Iceland. Both a PCR test and a COVID-19 rapid antigen test are accepted. The test must be taken within 72 hours before departure on the first leg of the trip
4. Certificates of full vaccination against COVID-19 that fulfil the following requirements:
In Icelandic, Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, English or French. A document in another language can be valid if the original document accompanied by a certified stamped translation in one of the languages required.
4.1. First name and last name (as in travel documents).
4.2. Date of birth.
4.3. Name of disease vaccinated against (COVID-19).
4.4. Where vaccination(s) was/were performed (country or city).
4.5. Date(s) of vaccination(s).
4.6. Vaccination must be complete, The date of the last dose is sufficient.
4.7. If different vaccines are used for the first and second dose, the minimum interval for the first vaccine administered must be observed for the vaccination to be considered complete.
4.8. Issuer of the certificate (supervising clinician/administering centre/facility).
4.9. The International Certificate of Vaccination (WHO yellow card) must have a signature and stamp.

5.7 Tozinameran-COVID-19 mRNA Vaccine (Comirnaty; BNT162b2) Pfizer/BioNTech Manufacturing GmbH, 2 doses at least 19 days apart.
6. Border control will evaluate whether a vaccination certificate is accepted and will consult a representative of the Chief Epidemiologist (health care worker) as needed. The final decision of whether a certificate is accepted is at the discretion of the Chief Epidemiologist. If a passenger presents a document that is rejected, i.e. if any of the necessary requirements are missing, the passenger must, as other arrival passengers, undergo double testing with a 5 day quarantine in between tests. If less than 14 days have passed since the second shot (or from single vaccination with the Janssen vaccine), one test upon arrival in Iceland is required and rules on quarantine need to be followed until the results are received.

Maldives Guest Obligation 1. To download of Arogya Setu App (India).
2. Passengers are required to submit a health declaration within 24 hours of their departure on https://imuga.immigration.gov.mv/ and obtain a QR code. Passengers falling under the category of pre-arrival RT-PCR required shall be required to attach a copy of their negative test result while completing their health declaration on the portal. The QR code obtained to be made readily available for verification by immigration upon entry in Maldives
Screening 1. Thermal screening for all passengers.
2. All passengers travelling for the purpose of tourism must carry a negative PCR certificate in printed form, from a government-approved laboratory in India (ICMR) or a certified designated laboratory which is available on https://www.icmr.gov.in issued no more than 96 hours before departure of the last direct flight to Male. The certificate issued shall be in English in print or electronic form. Hand written certificates shall not be permitted. 96 hours is calculated from the time of sample collection.
3. The RT-PCR certificate must contain name as per passport, name and address of the testing laboratory, Type of test, date of sample collection and result
4. Children below the age of 01year are exempted from the pre-departure RT-PCR test
5. Passengers who have been vaccinated by a WHO approved vaccine (should be in receipt of both does of the vaccine and have completed 14 days from receipt of the 2nd dose) shall not be exempted from pre-departure RT-PCR test provided they are in possession of the vaccination certificate at the time of travel
Quarantine None
Rules 1. All travellers coming to India need to submit the self declaration form on the online Air Suvidha Portal www.newdelhiairport.in before their scheduled travel and also upload a Covid-19 negative RT-PCR report. This test needs to be conducted within 72 hours of conducting the journey.

Mauritius Thermal Screening Thermal screening for all passengers
Guest Obligation 1. All  passengers arriving in Mauritius must present a certificate of a negative COVID-19 PCR test administered between 5 and 7 days prior to the date of boarding their flight to Mauritius, and will also be required to undergo PCR tests on the day of arrival, day 7 and day 14 following arrival.
2. If a PCR test is positive, the passenger will be transferred to a public medical institution for treatment. Visitors to Mauritius must book a travel package at a designated hotel for a mandatory 14-day in-room quarantine. Incoming passengers must also complete a Passenger Health Self-Declaration Form and Passenger Locator Form before travelling.

Morocco Thermal Screening Thermal screening for all passengers
Guest Obligation 1. Vaccinated travelers or holders of a certificate attesting that the person is vaccinated with one of the vaccines accepted in Morocco are exempted from quarantine and must present only a negative PCR test dated less than 48 hours and a health form completed and signed before boarding. The vaccines authorized in Morocco are : AstraZeneca, Sinopharm, Sputnik, Pfizer/BioNTech, Janssen, Covishield, Moderna, Sinovac.
2. Unvaccinated or incompletely vaccinated persons must observe a 10-day controlled quarantine by presenting a negative PCR test less than 48 hours old, a completed and signed health form, a completed and signed declaration of honor for a 10-day confinement and a voucher confirming this confinement in one of the hotels previously designated by the Moroccan authorities. A PCR test is mandatory on the 9th day.

Russia Thermal Screening Thermal screening for all passengers
Guest Obligation 1. Visitors from India must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) test taken 72 hours before departing to Russia.
2. In accordance with health and disease control-related regulations in force in the Russian Federation, from 28 April 2021 all passengers arriving from India shall be tested for COVID-19 after passing passport control. Passengers are not required to wait to get the result at the airport.
Quarantine Travelers are required to isolate until they get a negative result of their PCR test. If the test is positive, they must quarantine for 14 days.
South Africa Thermal Screening Thermal screening for all passengers
Guest Obligation 1. A traveller must provide a valid negative Polymerase Chain Reaction ("PCR") test certificate, obtained not more than 72 hours before the date of travel, from an accredited laboratory and, in line with World Health Organization requirements or equivalent local accreditation authority. South African Authorities reserve the right to verify the authenticity of the presented PCR negative test certificates.
2. In the event of the traveller's failure, for whatever reason, to submit a valid negative test certificate in terms of paragraph (a), upon arrival in South Africa, the traveller shall be required to do an antigen test at his or her own costs.
Quarantine In the event of the traveller testing positive for COVID-19, he or she shall be required to isolate him or herself, at his or her own cost, for 10 days.
Spain Thermal Screening Thermal screening for all passengers
Guest Obligation 1. Only fully-vaccinated Indian travellers are eligible to travel to Spain. Covishield is valid, Covaxin is not. Children under 12 years of age are not required to present these certificates or supporting documents.
2. All travellers are required to carry RT-PCR test report conducted 72 Hours Prior with QR code & Fully vaccinated visitors with approved vaccination certificates do not need to present a negative COVID-19 test.
Quarantine Visitors from India will need to quarantine for 10 days upon entering Spain. Quarantine may end earlier if on the 7th-day the traveler is tested for COVID-19 and receives negative results.
Sri Lanka Thermal Screening Thermal screening for all passengers.
Guest Obligation A) Fully Vaccinated:
1. Passengers under this category require a pre-departure Authorization required from: https://www.srilanka.travel/helloagain/
2. Passengers must carry a negative PCR certificate in printed form, from a government-approved laboratory in India (ICMR) or a certified designated laboratory which is available on https://www.icmr.gov.in/issuedno more than 72 hours before departure of the last direct flight to Colombo. The certificate issued shall be duly signed and/or stamped by relevant authorities and must have a QR code on it. Handwritten certificates shall not be permitted. 72Hours is calculated from the time of sample collection.
3. Passengers are required to be in possession of a final vaccination certificate of any covid-19 vaccine showing proof of being fully vaccinated at both departure and arrival airports.
4. Passengers are also required to fill and submit a health declaration form on arrival.
5. Passengers upon arrival shall be required to undergo a 1 day mandatory Quarantine at a Quarantine Centre/Quarantine Hotel/Or a Safe & Secure Level 1 and a RT-PCR test.
6. If Arrival PCR Test is Negative, and proof of Vaccination is satisfactory to the Officer in Charge/Hotel Doctor, Fully Vaccinated traveler is released from Quarantine.
7. PCR Test on Day 07 is not required if Travelling from a non-restricted Risk Country/Non- restricted country.
B) • Not Fully Vaccinated – Customers who has not taken both doses of the vaccine or not completed 14 days after receipt of the final dose is considered not fully vaccinated.

3. Customers are required to be in possession of a final vaccination certificate of any covid-19 vaccine showing proof of being fully vaccinated at both departure and arrival airports if applicable.
4. Customers are also required to fill and submit a health declaration form on arrival.
5. Customers upon arrival shall be required to undergo a 1 day mandatory Quarantine at a Quarantine Centre/Quarantine Hotel/Or a Safe & Secure Level 1 and a RT-PCR test.
6. If Arrival PCR is negative, customers shall be allowed to other Safe & Secure Certified Level 1 Hotels in a bio-secure travel bubble and visit Tourist sites.
7. If tourist staying in Sri Lanka for less than 14 days, a second PCR test will be done only if required for further travel.
8. Exit PCR Test report shall be made available to the tourist on Day 14, prior to release from Quarantine, if the tourist stays more than 14 Days in Sri Lanka and is free from quarantined restrictions.
9. If the 14 day period from the final dose of the vaccine is achieved whilst in Quarantine:- the traveller can be released from Quarantine after a negative PCR test result taken on Day 14 from the time of the final vaccine dose.

Switzerland Thermal Screening Thermal screening for all passengers.
Guest Obligation 1. All passengers must carry a negative PCR test (not older than 72 hours) or a negative rapid antigen test (not older than 48 hours) before boarding.

Turkey Thermal Screening Thermal screening for all passengers.
Guest Obligation 1. Visitors from India must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) or Antigen (quick-test) test taken 72 or 48 hours before departing to Turkey.
2. Visitors are mandatory required to fill form https://register.health.gov.tr/ 72h before arrival.
Quarantine 1. Visitors from India will need to quarantine for 14 days upon entering Turkey.
2. Quarantine is exempt for passengers arriving from India, if they submit proof of 2 doses of Vaccination (Listed by WHO or Turkey for emergency use( (1 dose of Johnson and Johnson vacccine) provided that last dose was atleast 14 days before the arrival.
