BEFORE JOINING THE SIKKIM - DARJEELING TOUR, PLEASE READ AND UNDERSTAND THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS:

• ROAD AND VEHICLE CONDITIONS: THE VEHICLES AND ROAD CONDITIONS IN THIS REGION ARE COMPARATIVELY WEAKER THAN IN OTHER DESTINATIONS.

• FREQUENT VEHICLE CHANGES: YOU WILL NEED TO CHANGE CARS FREQUENTLY DUE TO UNION REGULATIONS. WE HAVE TO DEAL WITH SEVEN UNIONS ON THIS ROUTE, AND WILL BE PROVIDED WITH NON-AC VEHICLES (SUMO/XYLO/SCORPIO) AS PER UNION RULES. NARROW ROADS CAN ALSO CAUSE TRAFFIC JAMS.

• AC VEHICLES: IF YOU NEED AN AC VEHICLE, YOU CAN OPT FOR PRIVATE INNOVA/XYLO CARS. PLEASE NOTE, AC WILL NOT WORK IN HILLY AREAS.

• SERVICE DELAYS: DESPITE OUR BEST EFFORTS, SOMETIMES WE ARE UNABLE TO PROVIDE THE INCLUDED SERVICES ON TIME DUE TO UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES OR OBSTACLES.

• CUSTOMER RESILIENCE: ONLY THOSE CUSTOMERS WHO HAVE THE STRENGTH AND PATIENCE TO HANDLE UNEXPECTED OR UNINTENTIONAL HURDLES SHOULD BOOK THIS SPECIFIC DESTINATION.

• IF THESE TERMS ARE NOT SUITABLE FOR YOU, WE SUGGEST CHOOSING AMONGST OUR OTHER DESTINATIONS.

Travel Tips

• In Sikkim/Darjeeling Tour its compulsory to carry 6 Passport Size Colour Photographs + Original Id & 02 Xerox Copies. Any 01 ID Proof (Driving License / Voter Id / Passport)

• Aadhar/Pan Card is not accepted in Sikkim.

• Summers are Pleasants so carry Jacket or Sweater.

• During the winter, especially at higher elevations. Make sure to pack and wear multiple layers of clothing

• Carry your Regular Basic medicines & Basic First Aid Kit with you.

• Carry pair of Thermal wear for Lachung (Yumthang) & Tshangu Lake Gangtok.

• As it’s a Hill station rain showers are expected anytime so kindly carry a small umbrella/windcheater & also cover your travelling bag with plastic from inside so that your clothes don’t get wet.

• Carry Sun Glasses, Sun’s screen, Cap, Sport Shoes.

• Gum Boots, Long Warm Jackets & Gloves are available on rent in certain areas where there is snow.

• We will provide our best of service but in this sector road conditions, hotels & vehicles are more weak than any other place in India so don’t keep higher luxury expectations in this sector.

• In this sector the hotels available offer only basic amenities. In case the road to Lachung is closed, we will arrange stay at an alternative destination, subject to hotel availability. It is important to note that most hotels in Lachung do not have geysers in the bathrooms; instead, hot water is provided in buckets by the hotel staff. Additionally, due to power shortage, room heating systems, such as room heaters, are not provided in most hotels. However, the hotelier does offer hot water bags for guest comfort.

• Our tour Manager reserves the rights to make changes or omit any place of visit, if it becomes necessary due to bad weather, bad road, strike or band, security reason.

• The region's prime tourist interest in its Nature and eco-friendly atmosphere. The facilities available here, hotels, roads & vehicles cannot be matched with other developed destinations.

• Most of the hotels do not have parking place & vehicle cannot be parked in front of the gates for longer period hence guests should wait at the reception before the departure to avoid the inconveniences.

• In No Parking Zones, the vehicle will get parked in an available parking area. In such a case, you will have to wait for the vehicle to come to your designated area. Please be patient as the driver will have to come through traffic. Please coordinate with the Manage
