IMP NOTE
- Special note for food: In Bhutan, we will have our own Gujarati-Punjabi-Kanthiyawadi food arrangements. If the number of tourists is less than 20, then breakfast and dinner arrangements will be made by the hotel. There will be no lunch arrangements. No refund will be given for this.
- Ajay Modi Tours & Travels will not be responsible if the flights get delayed or cancelled.
- It is mandatory to get an entry permit for Bhutan to enter Bhutan, so every tourist should leave their home with the original election card or original passport. If you forget or lose it, you will not be allowed to enter Bhutan, and the tourist will be fully responsible for it. (Aadhaar card/PAN card or driving license are not considered valid for entry permit in Bhutan.)
- According to the new law of Bhutan and due to the opposition of local hotel owners and restaurant owners of Bhutan, the Bhutanese government has banned kitchen staff and kitchen arrangements from India. Some companies secretly send kitchen staff from Delhi by plane, the heavy cost of which ultimately remains on the tourists' heads, so the cost of the trip also increases and if caught, they impose a heavy fine and close the kitchen. Non-veg food is available in all places in Bhutan, only veg food is available in some places, so our Gujarati vegetarian tourists face some difficulty in getting food. But by discussing this with us in person and preparing food according to our tips, the problem of food in Bhutan is mostly solved.
- The timings of the immigration office in Bhutan are from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, so take special care of this before booking flight or railway tickets, otherwise you will have to go to Bagdogra, NJP or Paro and sit for 2 days at your own expense for entry permit (immigration).
- The value of the currency of India and Bhutan is the same and there is no difference in exchange.
- Anyone who throws garbage, spits or makes dirt anywhere in Bhutan is fined.
- Indian time is 30 minutes behind Bhutan time. (If it is 8 am in Bhutan, it is 7:30 am in India.)
