About This Tour
The Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh Tour by Ajay Modi Travels is a carefully designed 12 Nights 13 Days holiday package that takes travellers through some of the most beautiful destinations in Northeast India. Beginning from Guwahati, the journey covers Shillong, Cherrapunji, Kaziranga National Park, Dirang, Bomdila, Tawang and Tezpur before concluding in Guwahati. The tour includes visits to Kamakhya Shaktipeeth Temple, Umananda Temple, Umiam Lake, Elephant Falls, Mawkdok View Point, Nohkalikai Falls, Mawsmai Cave, Seven Sisters Falls, Eco Park, Leitlum Canyon, Kaziranga National Park, Orchid Park, Bhalukpong, Tawang Monastery, Bumla Pass, Sangetsar Lake, Jaswantgarh War Memorial, the Giant Buddha Statue and many other attractions. This journey offers a wonderful combination of spirituality, wildlife, culture, adventure and natural beauty.
Tour Information
- Guwahati & Shillong: Most hotels provide twin-sharing rooms with two separate beds; double-bed rooms may not be available.
- 4 persons in 1 room: 3 persons will sleep on the double bed and 1 extra mattress will be provided on the floor; taking an additional room is recommended.
- If another room is unavailable at the same hotel, the alternative room will be at your own expense.
- Most hotels in the hilly areas do not have lifts; senior citizens may need to use stairs.
- Some Deluxe hotels may not have A.C., room heaters or lifts.
- Room allotment is done by the hotel management and depends on availability.
- Due to landslides, strikes, heavy rush or unforeseen circumstances, the hotel, route or overnight stay may be changed. Additional charges may apply.
- Group kitchen: Gujarati, Punjabi, South Indian, Chinese, Kathiyawadi and Continental vegetarian meals will be provided as per B.L.D./B.D. in the itinerary.
- Jain food will be available for Jain travellers.
- Due to hilly roads and long journeys, lunch may sometimes be replaced with a complimentary food packet.
- 750 ml water bottle per person will be provided every morning and evening.
- Tea, coffee, mineral water, Maggi, biscuits and wafers are available on the way at your own expense.
- Group kitchen is provided only when the group has more than 30 tourists.
- If the group has fewer than 30 tourists, only hotel breakfast and dinner will be provided, with no refund for lunch.
